I admit it. I’m addicted to Mad Men. It happened so quickly, I didn’t have time to stop it. The good news is that while watching men and women behave badly I can also get my fill of some of the best mid century modern design and the amazing color palette of my youth. From the salmon colored walls of Joan’s apartment to the white on white of Roger’s office, every scene has a delight for the optics. Predominately set in a palette of turquoise and orange, this color combination creates an underlying tension as these color wheel opposites bounce off each other in the background. Brilliantly set design and wardrobed, it is worth a watch. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you…
