Front Doors – Sublime to Ridiculous

Make your curb appeal pop!

From Classic to Funky, your front door is the “first impression” of your house. Just as you change your shoes, jewelry, or purse to accentuate an outfit, a front door is an accessory that you can really have fun with! Try a high contrasting color for a bold statement, or a playful color for charm and whimsy.

Most doors are set back under a covering of some sort, which creates shade and shields the door from the direct sunlight. Select a highly saturated color for a vibrant, bold welcome. Use a contrasting color from your house color; example: violet hue door on a yellow house, a red door on a green house. Or try a contrasting tone – like a black door on an off white house or a sea glass green door on a rich chocolate colored house.

Does the door need to match the shutters and window trim? Well, does the purse have to match the shoes? Of course not! So get wild, get crazy, and experiment!
